The
long anticipated sequel to the 2001 Eastern Michigan University comic art
show is coming
November 2 - 30, 2004!
This
exhibition in EMU's Ford Gallery, will feature original artwork for historic
and contemporary comic strips, comic books and cartoons. This will include
work by such legendary artists as Winsor McCay, Frank Frazetta, Hal Foster,
Jack Kirby, Alex Raymond, Will Eisner, Joe Kubert, Alex Toth and many more.
A symposium, featuring a panel of comic professionals including
Al Feldstein, Marie Severin, Len Wein, Dave Coverly and Jane Irwin , is planned
for November 10, 2004. This will be held in Halle Library Auditorium from
7:00-9:00 p. m.
